"What you think, you become" ~Buddha
Another year gone-only memories and the repurcussions of choices remain. How was yours? Let's see...in 2015, I lost both Grandmothers (or gained 2 angels-I'll take the help!), launched Texting Base, got married, recruited the former COO of a multi-billion dollar company, secured our first 100 customers and have a baby girl on the way ("we" are pregnant, although I joke I'm the only one who looks it).
How is that for a year? 2015 will definitely not be forgotten or blend in with the others.
During the year we set a few "company firsts":
-First company to film a commercial during an actual wedding ceremony ”First company to film a commercial during an actual wedding ceremony”
-First communications company to allow for fully personalized sms messages using custom data fields
-First company to "question enable" responses, so all responses with questions are brought to the top of the incoming message queue
-Within the first 3 months of being on the market (as far as I could find), we became the ”first company to win "Marketing Automation Platform of the Year”
Not bad for a new company! I'm proud of the first 7 months.
As we enter 2016, I am confident and optimistic...with a child on the way what choice do I have?
One thing that has become abundantly clear over the years, time stops for nothing and no one. The days fly by seemingly faster with each passing year until weeks go by like days and months like weeks. Family and close friends have become more important to me than the slew of loose acquaintances which littered my life 5 years ago. Life is changing, and so is Texting Base.
Yesterday we rolled out a revolutionary new feature which will pool messages/responses together by questions...no one knows yet (although I included it in the firsts). Two weeks ago we rolled out a feature which allows people to delete contacts right through messages and schedule follow up texts as incoming messages come in. The product is evolving, and I am thankful for our team. We have incredible professionals who outwork everyone and genuinely care. Texting Base has a bright future, God willing.
I want to thank our customers, who trusted us and have grown with us. We promise to improve every single day and to listen.
2016 is going to be an exciting year and I'm looking forward to seeing what challenges the universe throws our way.
Hope everyone has a safe and happy new year. Most of the people I know will be getting personal texts tonight to let them know I care. Years may pass, but the people I care about will know how important they are to me every holiday...after all, that's what Texting Base is about.
